Pregnancy is one of the most profound changes a woman can undergo. Her body transforms at a pace she has never experienced before. And in just a few months, all of that will be in the past – and you will barely remember what it was like to carry that life within you.
The photos, however, will stay with you.
Why have a pregnancy photoshoot?
Not to take "beautiful photos" in the conventional sense. But to cast a loving and proud gaze upon what one experiences. To capture this version of oneself – strong, vulnerable, creating something magnificent.
Many of the women I work with tell me after their session: "I thought I didn't like my body during pregnancy. Now I see it differently."
That is the goal.
What happens during a pregnancy photoshoot in my studio in Biel?
First and foremost, we'll have a conversation. A 20- to 30-minute chat so I can understand where you are right now, what's on your mind, and what's important to you. This isn't your average photoshoot—it's an experience tailored entirely to you.
On the big day, you'll come to my studio in Biel/Bienne – a warm, intimate, and non-judgmental space. We'll take our time to make you feel comfortable. We'll play with natural light, fabrics, and silhouettes. And if you'd like to bring your partner or children, that's possible – and often beautiful.
The session lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. No rush. No pressure.
When is the right time for a pregnancy photoshoot?
Ideally, between the 7th and 8th month of pregnancy – when your belly is nicely rounded and you can still move around easily. But every pregnancy is different. Let's talk about it.
